For the past few seasons Elizabeth Giardina, design director over at 10 Crosby Derek Lam, has been playing with very minimalist palettes, complete with clean lines, basic shades and unstructured silhouettes, but for this collection she pushed on the those barriers. Without going totally outside the box, she played with a little more color, shape and even mixed in a little patterned lace, giving the whole look a slightly more feminine feel.
