10 Popular Nail Color Trends for Fall 2022

It’s here. The chill in the air, the comfy sweaters and of course, pumpkin spice everything! And while its easy to check out the hottest Fall 2022 fashion trends, what about nail colors? Don’t they deserve some attention too?

Denim blue nail color. It’s no surprise that denim blue would be so popular this Fall 2022, as we pull out our favorite well-worn jeans and yearn for all things comfy.

Reimagined and Classic French manicure. The French manicure is always a seasonal staple but this season, expect new takes on this classic look (think ombré French, for instance).

Alternating pink nail colors. We saw this trend pop up in Spring 2022 and we’re glad its kept its popularity this season. So pretty, so fun and so decided feminine.

Mustard yellow nail color. This color is a more muted, warm tone (versus the hot yellow nails we saw in the Summer of 2022). Pairs perfectly with that oversized white sweater or brown leather bomber jacket.

Glazed donut nail color. This is going to look great with your holiday outfits since it provides a warm yet subtle sparkle. This nail trend (#GlazedDonutNails) is surging over on TikTok and involves a chrome powder topper and a mandatory sheer white nail polish as a base.

Caramel nail color. Just like pumpkin spice, caramel evokes that warm, toasty feeling of Fall. Expect a range of takes on this inviting color. Best part? It goes with everything and matches all skin tones.

Gold, copper and silver trim/color tips. Expect strips of metallic sparkle this Fall/Winter 2022, which accentuates just about any nail color you choose. Just take extra care of your manicure, since this will be a tip-forward look.

Fun toe color and designs. Many focus on pedi colors just for the summer. But a Fall-loving gal knows that cute toes bring joy year-round. Expect cute designs that brighten the spirit and personalize the look.

Polka dots, large or small or reimagined. Nail art has never been bigger at our Montreal salon. Women want to express their creativity and individuality via their nails. Designs such as dotting will continue to trend but expect some interesting variations on the theme (see gallery below).

Clean, neutral nail colors. We’re definitely seeing more of a trend toward clean, functional nails where the manicure lasts longer and requires less maintenance. This doesn’t mean boring by any stretch!
