Highstreet brands H&M and Topshop are teaming up with well-established designers to bring more to their customers. The question is, who’s collaboration will be more successful?
A bloody battle it is indeed. TopShop is teaming up with the BRITISH designer JW Anderson for their Fall 2012 line. The line will include jerseys, denim, knitwear and outerwear. JW Anderson is very pleased to be working with TS. He says he’s particularly looking forward to reaching a new type of customer. TopShop is also looking forward to have a new type of feel coming to their clothing. Looks like this collaboration will be mutually beneficial.
H&M was pleased to announce that they have collaborated with Maison Martin Margiela for their autumn and winter line for this year. Described as one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades by creative advisor of H&M, Margareta van de Bosch, Maison Martin Margiela seems like it will be the perfect brand to team up with. The line will be both a synthesis of democratic fashion, coming from H&M’s style and more conceptual elements from MMM at a low price, but still at a great quality.
Which collab. do YOU think will do better?
