Game-goers have three weeks from April 1 to find all of the eggs for an opportunity to win Fabergé Egg pendants, valued at $30,000 and $48,000 respectively. But if running around the city like a crazy person doesn’t really appeal to you, you can always browse the beautiful artistry of the eggs online or bid on one of your favorite designs to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. Bidding started yesterday for the highly collectable eggs and prices are currently between $500-$7,600 (at the time of publication). If a massive, brightly-colored egg doesn’t match with your home décor, smaller collectable eggs are available from the Big Egg Hunt site. The profits from the event are 100 percent charitable and help raise money for children in New York City through Studio in a School, and conservation efforts through Elephant Family, saving the endangered Asian elephant and its habitat.
