Designer Reem Acra is established in the bridal and wedding industries, but shes recently expanded her

luxury brand

by adding something completely new: a fragrance. After 15 years of designing couture gowns fit for both wedding days and the Red Carpet, theres finally a Reem Acra item that you can own, too. The designer made the move of rounding out her business by adding a bottle that encompasses all the things that are close to her heart.

Reem Acra Eau de Parfum reflects the designers love for all things classic and sophisticated. The main ingredients in the bottle are all there for a reason. Amber is the largest theme of this perfume, and as the designer puts it, its also an ingredient to her life story. Growing up in Lebanon, Acra and her siblings used to collect amber from surrounding forests. But were not talking about just any amber the designer used to collect the same stuff that we see behind glass at the worlds most renowned museums. It was the oldest amber in the world that contained insects, Acra told

Elle

Theres a whole history behind the amber. We lived with it, we had boxes of it under our beds and in our drawers. We breathed it all the time.
