Working the runways, Pecheux understands the idea of building a look as a day progresses. Moving from day to evening wear during a show means makeup needs to be quick, easy and work well together. Which is exactly the kind of line the duo dreamed up. “It fit into a woman’s life — that’s what most women do,” said Pecheux. “Nobody has time to go back home to shower, to clean and rebuild the makeup. Girls like to add a bit of makeup to start their second part of the day and then the evening.”
The collection will be out in January of next year and will be sold as a set of five pieces in a Derek Lam designed black clutch. The set will include a Kajal Crayon in Near Night, The Mascara in Black Black, The EyeShadow in Smoked Gold, The LipColor in Smoked Blush, and The Gloss in Barely Gold. At this point we’re marking our calendars and making room in our bathrooms.
