Grammy-winning singer, songwriter, producer, designer and all-round tastemaker Pharrell Williams has partnered with super-stylish luxury footwear brand Palladium on an exclusive new capsule collection for the holidays. Initially founded in France in 1920 to make aircraft tires, the brand employed the same skills to make rubber-soled boots after World War II and soon after became outfitters of the legendary French Foreign Legion. Today, the brand is still making strides with collaborators like Pharrell producing innovative styles.
Designed under the auspices of Pharrell’s Billionaire Boys Club label, the cool collaboration, which will be available in extremely limited quantities, features cult Japanese designer Sk8thing’s interpretation of some of the heritage brand’s most iconic styles. Billionaire Boys Club reimagined Palladium’s classic Pampa Hi and Baggy silhouettes, as well the brand’s new high-tech design, the Thermal.
