V.I.P. guests comprised of business reps., political figures and fashion and entertainment industry all joined together in Miami on June 7th for a fun filled night revealing Flat Out of Heels’ rollable flats. We are happy to say the turnout was extraordinary and guest drank, ate, and learned more about the functional flats and how utilitarian style can be both fun and convenient.
Flat Out of Heels, located in Miami, created for women who need flats on the go uses vending machines as their method of distribution along with online sales. Up until now, most of their orders have been secured through social media and online sales. Dawn’s loyal following of Flat Out wearers are quick to evangelize the brand on twitter and their favorite social media outlets. The micro messages have helped to add buzz to this noteworthy burgeoning brand and launch party served as a great way to culminate the brands success.
Patrons of the event including NFL Superbowl Champion, Anthony Smith; MultiMedia Maven’s, B. Scott; Planet Pit’s, Derek Turton; and Vanessa James Media’s, Vanessa James who all assisted in hosting. The excitement around the genius Dawn Dickson who created the brand helped to foster and immense appreciation for the problem solving product.
Guests enjoyed El Vato Tequila & Taco Bar and Hennessy cocktails, along with Rose and Coco Breve from Miller Coors. For dessert– Blissberry Frozen Yogurt and Ginnybakes. The sweetness didn’t stop there though, guests were given free massages and MANICURES (apparently I’ve been hanging out with the wrong people).
At the “Flat Out Shoe Station”, guests had the opportunity to see the shoes in person and purchase them. They enjoyed themselves so much that by the end of night many people changed out of their party shoes and into their new flats. Dickson said that the main priority of the event was for the guests to have a great time, and they definitely did.
