Rihanna has never been one to be afraid of taking a fashion risk. Over the years, she’s displayed her brave and confident personality, rocking various trendy hairstyles in different colors and wearing bold colors. A recent sighting of her confirmed that her 2012 style still holds up the eye-catching RIRI of the past. The pop singer was spotted outside her London hotel in a pink satin lapel with tuxedo stripe detailing from Acne’s Prefall 2012 Collection.

Four fashion savvy individuals founded the Acne brand in 1996. Despite the fact that they are all independent entities, they collectively share the same goals in their business. They seek to equally combine art and industry in order to create a well-balanced brand. Their intention was to create a company that supplies fashions for everyday life in addition to assisting other brands and helping them expand. From this, various assignments in advertising, graphic design and television production came together for the company. Putting the gap in the fashion market for denim to good use, Acne made the decision to created 100 pairs of unisex jeans. News about the jeans spread like wildfire and it wasn’t too long until established boutiques were begging for the opportunity to sell to retail the jeans in their stores.

Twice a year, Acne publishes their own magazine, Acne Paper, which features all areas of the company. Instead of featuring news stories, the content of the magazine hones in on personal experience and stories –making it the perfect coffee table read. The intention of the magazine isn’t to be different than other publications that are out there, but instead to bring different ages of creative minds together, allowing them to establish their own voice in the present magazine market.
