Rodeo Drive Re-Opens DIOR Beverly Hills

DIOR Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive Re Opens DIOR Beverly Hills

“Couture” is easily thrown around but Haute Couture embodies a legacy of greatness. Christian Dior is re-opening the newly renovated Beverly Hills US flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive. Initally opened in 1990, the 5k square foot space is scheduled to resurge it’s space today.

The modern interior, designed by Peter Marino, is continuously designed in conjunction with Dior’s worldwide flagship in Paris on Avenue Montaigne. A combination of 18th century details melded with new age elements help to achieve a look that’s both feminine and glamorous. DOIR’s aesthetic reflects traditional sophistication and elegance that’s synonymous with the brand.

New floorplan includes five rooms on the devoted to Dior’s complete range of products and cients will find Dior’s signature handbags and shoes each housed in their own special area. The intricately designed ready-to-wear salon is delicately completed with a custom fireplace and seating area which leads into a separate fine jewelry sanctum. The new mezzanine features an exclusive salon for notables and private visits.

Dior commissioned several contemporary artists to design works of art for the boutique that reflect the codes of the house. These pieces include a circular Claude Lalanne ginkgo bench in the entrance room, featuring cascading flowers, a Rob Wynne mirror glass installation on the ceiling of the handbag area, a Johnny Swing couch made of welded half dollars and stainless steel in the ready-to-wear room and two sculptures by glass artist Jeff Zimmerman alongside a Pae White custom tapestry in the shoe salon.

A heritage of timeless elegance, luxury and innovation, DIOR never fails and a comeback was overdue. Location: 309 North Rodeo Drive
