The Inn at the White Elephant Village in Nantucket opened on July 15 on South Beach Street alongside the existing White Elephant hotel. It has 20 suites and 14 deluxe rooms; summer rates start at $750 and winter prices begin at $475. Its interiors were created by Nantucket designer Kathleen Hay in the spirit of the surroundings, with oversize windows and wainscoting details throughout.
