With the 2012 Olympic Games just around the corner, it seems all anyone can talk about even more than the sports themselves is the anticipated fashion that will be worn at the Opening Ceremony this Friday. With the Olympics now considered the most fashionable sporting event of all time, the Opening Ceremony will feature team uniforms by

luxury designers

Stella McCartney (Team Great Britain), Giorgio Armani (Team Italy), and Bob Marleys daughter, Cedella Marley (Team Jamaica). But the team whose uniforms are drawing the most attention and not in a good way is our very own Team USA. Designed by Ralph Lauren, the uniforms themselves are not the biggest issue, even though the navy berets draw confusion. Its the outsourcing of the uniforms which also include polo shirts and double-breasted blazers (both with the famous pony logos), white slacks, dresses and skirts to China. When people learned that Team USAs Opening Ceremony attire was not made in the USA, they were outraged, sparking lawmakers to announce an agreement on Monday that all of the USAs ceremonial uniforms must be made in America starting in 2014.
