These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Salon Deauville’s Website.

All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Canada. Shipping Policy

Important Note: Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday orders placed after 2:00 PM ET on Friday, October 7, 2016 will be processed on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.

Some items sold by Salon Deauville require special handling as specified by federal, state and local regulations governing the transport of these items. The method of shipment for these items is dictated by these regulations. At Salon Deauville, we comply with these regulations therefore the shipment of some products to certain locations may not be possible. If this affects your order, we regret any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. If you wish to provide a physical address in Canada to which we can deliver, we will be happy to ship your full order.

Shipments to Forwarding Companies

Salon Deauville is not responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods delivered to a forwarding company. This means that Salon Deauville is not responsible to provide a replacement or refund for any goods delivered to a forwarding company. If you choose to use a forwarding company, we recommend requesting the forwarder refuse any packages that arrive damaged. If a package is lost or damaged after being received by the freight forwarder, it is the responsibility of the freight forwarder.

Standard Service – $8.50 +
Express Service – $15.00 +

DELIVERY OPTIONS
Salon Deauville orders are shipped and delivered by Canada Post, UPS, FedEx Ground (for standard shipments) and FedEx Express (for express shipments) on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays). Below are the shipping options available for your Salon Deauville package. Please select the option that best suits your delivery needs during “Checkout”.

STANDARD SERVICE
Most orders shipped via Standard Service are processed and shipped in 1 – 3 business days, depending on product availability.

  • Most Standard orders are delivered within 5-10 business days from the order’s ship date.
  • Please note that shipping to rural or remote destinations may result in extended shipping times of up to 14 business days.

EXPRESS SERVICE
Orders with Express Service placed by 11:00 AM ET will be processed and shipped the same day, depending on product availability. Express orders placed after 11:00 AM ET will be processed and shipped the next business day.

  • Orders shipped via Express Service are delivered within 2-3 business days from the order’s ship date
  • Express Service is not available for orders destined for Remote Destinations
  • Please note that a signature may be required upon delivery for Express deliveries

Salon Deauville Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from Salon Deauville, you may return the unused portion to us for a refund or exchange. Please note: Only products purchased from Salon Deauville may be returned for refund or exchange.

Online Return/Exchange Instructions

1. Please fill out the “Return Section” of the invoice (the invoice is enclosed in your original order) and place it inside the return package. Be sure to retain a copy of the invoice for your records. if you are returning a gift, please check the box marked “Gift Return” on the back of the invoice.

2. For your convenience, we have provided a return address label on the invoice that should be affixed to the outside of the return package. If the label is not available, all returns should be addressed to:

3. For your protection and to ensure prompt delivery, we recommend that you send your return via insured UPS Ground or Canada Post. We’re sorry. Return shipping fees are not refundable. In the case of damaged items, please refer to Damaged Items.

4. Please allow 7-10 business days for return processing.

Return/Exchange FAQs

* How long will it take to receive a credit for my returned items?
Once received, return packages are processed within 7-10 business days. The time to post a credit to your account can vary and is determined by the issuing bank. Please contact the issuing bank for details.

* When I exchange an item there are two transactions on my credit card – can you explain?
When an exchange is requested it is completed in two steps:

1. A credit is issued for the item(s) returned
2. A new order is processed for the item(s) requested in exchange

Two transactions will be posted to your account; a credit for the returned item(s) and one charge for the item(s) requested in exchange.

Please note that billing for the exchange item is subject to payment authorization and once authorized and shipped, it will post immediately to your account. While both the credit transaction and the billing transaction for the exchange occur simultaneously, it may take longer for the credit to post to your account depending upon the issuing bank’s processing times for credits.

* I ordered/received the wrong product, should I return it?

If your online order is not as expected, please contact us at 1(514) 735-4432 for assistance.

* My item arrived damaged. What should I do?

If you received damaged merchandise, please retain the box, packaging and all contents and contact us as soon as possible at 1(514) 735-4432 for assistance.

* Can I return a gift that was purchased from Salon Deauville?

Yes, we accept gift returns. Return credits are issued to the original form of payment used for the purchase. The gift-giver’s credit card account will be credited for the returned item(s). If you prefer that your gift-giver is not alerted to the return, please call us at 1(514) 735-4432 and we will be happy to assist you with other options.

Damaged Items

When your order arrives, please inspect the carton for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please retain the box, the packing materials and the items inside and contact us immediately at 1(514) 735-4432. Please provide the order number along with your email address and phone number for fastest service.
